Ordinarily, Donna is pretty grounded: a loving wife, a happy empty nester, and a celebrity on the local bake sale circuit. But lately she’s been a little out of control and folks are starting to notice. A little road rage. An innocent hurling of the vacuum cleaner. She even slapped a woman at the supermarket! Therapy is out of the question and church isn’t the place to share one’s tribulations. How can she retake control? Donna Orbits the Moon is a disarmingly funny, utterly surprising, and ultimately profound journey through motherhood, trauma, reclamation, the Mall of America, and maybe even a space walk with Buzz Aldrin.
