Postcard text: Howdy! (What can I say? Getting into that Western spirit) In one of his letters, my book guy wrote about seeing the Rockies. First time on this side of the Atlantic, first time seeing these massive snow-capped mountains, and all he could think about was wanting a girl from back home to see them too. That’s how I feel. Gotten a ton of writing done, seen the sights, but wow do I wish I was seeing them with someone. Went bowling (used to have a personalized ball and everything!) and ended up thinking about that girl again.. Silly - we were 12. Wouldn’t have changed my life if I’d been braver and let her answer my note. Or would it? Potential. Anyway, I’m making my way back, sooner or later.
