Two young boys stand back to back; their shadows on the wall appear like a very large person about to punch a small one. Show details are included as text, which also appears on the website.

“…so utterly astounding and fun…It pulsates with inventiveness”
— TheaterPizzazz

★★★★★ “Unapologetically sweaty, sweary, and Scottish, a great big middle finger to ‘proper theatre’”
— Broadway Baby

Directed by KC MacMillan

Being a smart arse in class has put daydreamer Max in the crosshairs of the school bully–he’s been challenged to his first ‘square go,’ or after-school fight. But while hiding out in the school bathrooms with his best mate, Stevie, it’s his own demons he must wrestle with first. This high-octane coming of age comedy builds to an emotional conclusion about masculinity, friendship, and fathers and sons.

Our all-new Philadelphia premiere follows smash-hit, sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and across the world.

This installment of A Play, a Pie, and a Pint is presented in co-production with our friends at Inis Nua! Each ticket to the show includes a beer, wine, or soft drink and snacks — and this time, we’re bringing the pub to the play, popping up an immersive bar inside the Bluver Theater.

Tickets will go on sale in the fall. Learn more about our friends and collaborators at Inis Nua here!

The Bluver Theatre at the Drake offers wheelchair accessibility, an ADA-compliant restroom, and an improved HVAC system that well exceeds recommended guidelines in air exchange cycles and filtration. When ticket sales begin, you will be able to reserve accessible seating should you require it.
